New Benefits for Fine Payments: How to Reduce the Amount
Fines recorded by photo and video surveillance can be significantly reduced thanks to a new electronic notification and payment system.
Citizens can register on the website roadpolice.am to receive notifications about violations via email. In this case, the fine amount is reduced by 20%.
Additionally, if the citizen pays the 20%-reduced fine within 15 days, an additional 30% discount is applied.
For example, if the original fine is 10,000 AMD, it is reduced to 8,000 AMD with electronic notification, and if paid within 15 days, the amount further decreases to 5,600 AMD.
It is important to note that the 20% bonus for electronic notifications does not replace SMS notifications.
As of May 1, 2024, a decision came into effect allowing fines recorded by photo or video surveillance to be reduced by 20% when received through electronic notification. The recent addition of a 30% discount makes the system even more advantageous.
