Kindergarten Fees to Be Fully Refunded to Parents Who File Income Declarations: Pashinyan Elaborates
In communities, the fees for kindergarten will be fully refunded to parents who file income declarations, using the income tax they have paid.
In an interview with Public Television, Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan addressed key aspects of the income declaration system, emphasizing that parents who complete income declarations will receive a full refund of the kindergarten fees they pay from their income tax.
Pashinyan added that, based on his observations, kindergarten fees typically range between 7,000-8,000 AMD per month. This means the annual fee for kindergarten amounts to approximately 96,000 AMD.
The Prime Minister explained that individuals who have paid more than 96,000 AMD in income tax and submit a universal income declaration—essentially those who are salaried employees—will be fully reimbursed for their child’s kindergarten fees during the year.
While some kindergartens charge higher fees, such as up to 300,000 AMD annually, Pashinyan noted that parents would still be able to claim up to 100,000 AMD back if they have paid the corresponding amount in income tax.
