
Direct Flights from Yerevan to Delhi to Launch on February 21
Armenian Airlines will begin direct flights from Yerevan to Delhi starting February 21. This will be the first direct air link between Armenia and India. This was announced by Armenian Airlines.
According to the announcement, the flights will operate twice a week, on Tuesdays and Fridays, using an Airbus 321-200 aircraft with a capacity of 220 passengers. The flight duration from Yerevan to Delhi will be 4 hours and 40 minutes, while the return flight will take 5 hours and 10 minutes.
Passengers traveling from Moscow can also easily reach Delhi through transfer flights via Yerevan, departing from Sheremetyevo International Airport.
It is noted that several new routes are planned for this year. Additionally, on January 26, the Embassy of India in Armenia held a special ceremony to mark the Republic Day of India. Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan sent a congratulatory message to Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi, emphasizing that through joint efforts, Armenia-India relations would be elevated to a new level.
