Closed and difficult-to-pass highways in the territory of the RA
As of 17:15 on January 2, the Noravan-Ltsen-Tatev highway is closed for vehicles with trailers. This was reported by the “Road Department” Fund.
“The Vanadzor-Dilijan and Kajaran-Kapan highways are difficult to pass for vehicles with trailers. The road from ‘Zanger’ to Sisian is closed for vehicles with trailers and difficult to pass for other vehicles. The Ttujur-Navur highway and the Vardenyats Pass are closed for all types of vehicles.
The Sevan-Tsaghkunk-Ddmashen road is difficult to pass.
Black ice is present in sections of the highways in the regions of Aparan, Aragats, Spitak, Tumanyan, Tashir, Sevan, Chambarak, Martuni, Gavar, Abovyan, Hrazdan, Nairi, Vayk, Sisian, Goris, Ashotsk, Amasia, and Vanadzor. It is snowing in the regions of Goris, Kapan, and Meghri.
Other interstate and republican highways are open.
Road workers are carrying out cleaning and salt-sand treatment on the highways.”
