The social support for the families of missing civilians will be extended
The government plans to continue the social support for the families of the missing civilians from Artsakh, affected by the war, for another two months. According to the new draft decision, the support will be provided for the months of January and February 2025, in the amount of 300,000 drams per month. Citizens can submit their applications until February 15, 2025, inclusive.
Under the government’s decision of December 3, 2020, the social support was originally set to continue until December 15, 2024. However, according to official data, there are still missing persons whose families continue to require state assistance.
Preliminary calculations indicate that this program will benefit the families of 11 missing persons. The financing will be provided from the state budget, allocated for social protection.
