Putin held a meeting with Pashinyan
As part of the CIS Summit, Vladimir Putin had a conversation with the Prime Minister of Armenia, Nikol Pashinyan.
The President of Russia began with economic issues.
Trade and economic relations are developing very vigorously and successfully. Last year, the trade turnover reached $7.4 billion, and in the first half of this year, it increased 2.5 times, exceeding $8.3 billion. If this pace continues, it means that this year’s trade turnover could reach $14-16 billion. This is a record figure.
Putin noted that Russia is the leading foreign investor in Armenia’s economy.
Nikol Pashinyan referred to the political dialogues of recent months, particularly the session of the EAEU Intergovernmental Council held in Yerevan.
Today, under Putin’s chairmanship, the CIS Council of Heads of State meeting will take place. It is expected that documents will be signed to deepen relations in economic, cultural-humanitarian, law enforcement, and military fields.
