Several flights from Moscow to Yerevan delayed due to heavy snow
Two scheduled flights from Moscow to Yerevan have been delayed due to heavy snowfall in the Russian capital.
According to the online flight board of Yerevan’s Zvartnots International Airport, the flight arriving from Yekaterinburg to Yerevan is also delayed.
As a result of the heavy snow, operations at Moscow’s Sheremetyevo Airport were temporarily disrupted, and aircraft arrivals were suspended for several hours.
Due to similar weather conditions, air transport restrictions have also been recorded in Saint Petersburg and a number of other Russian cities.
In total, 6 flights from Moscow have been delayed due to unfavorable weather.
Heavy snow and strong winds have disrupted operations at Saint Petersburg’s Pulkovo Airport. It is noted that runways have been being cleared since this morning, but according to online flight board data, more than 30 flights have been delayed.
