Protest action near the U.S. Embassy
A protest action is being carried out near the U.S. Embassy in Armenia regarding the issue of Armenian prisoners held in Baku.
It should be recalled that U.S. Vice President JD Vance is scheduled to arrive in Armenia today.
Yesterday, representatives of the Armenian community in Los Angeles held a protest at St. Leon (Surb Ghevondyants) Cathedral, the seat of the Western Diocese of the Armenian Church of North America, against the repressions carried out against the Armenian Apostolic Church.
They attempted to organize a meeting with the Primate of the Diocese, Archbishop Hovnan Derderian, to discuss issues related to the campaign against the church, but the meeting did not take place. The protesters also demanded the release of the imprisoned Bishops.
