Yerevan Special School for Children with Hearing Impairments transformed into a Resource Center

By the Government’s decision, the “Yerevan Special Educational Complex for Children with Hearing Impairments” SNCO has been officially renamed, becoming the “Yerevan Special School-Resource Center for Children with Hearing Impairments” SNCO.

This change aims to expand the scope of the center’s activities.

The primary objective remains the organization of special education for children with special educational needs, as well as the provision of 3rd and 4th level psycho-pedagogical support services.

With its new status, the center will also be able to provide psycho-pedagogical support to children with hearing impairments studying in other educational institutions, as well as to their parents.

It is noted that this format will enable the efficient use of state resources by preventing the duplication of functions between structures.
