Deer found in Tavush returned to the wild

On February 17, based on an alert received from a citizen in the city of Ijevan, Tavush Province, employees of the Environmental Protection and Mining Inspection Body visited the scene.

It was revealed that a resident of Ijevan, L.O., had noticed a roe deer (deer) approximately one year old on a forest road adjacent to their house, which had visible scratches on its head and legs.

Following an external examination, specialists from the Inspection Body assessed that the animal was in satisfactory condition.

After the examination, the deer was safely transported into the forest and released back into the wild, where it successfully rejoined its natural environment.
