Drinking water production plant suspended in Jermuk

According to the FBSS (Food Safety Inspection Body), the production activities of the drinking water plant belonging to “Every Day” CJSC have been suspended due to violations of sanitary and hygienic norms.

Inspectors from the Yerevan Center branch carried out supervisory measures at the production plant operating in the city of Jermuk, Vayots Dzor Province, where the following violations were recorded: the surfaces of the walls in the storage area and the production plant were not covered with waterproof, washable, and disinfectable materials; moisture and mold were present in certain areas; the ceiling was not in proper condition, which posed a risk of dirt accumulation, mold formation, and shedding of particles; additionally, there was no separate area for washing and disinfecting materials, work tools, and accessories.

By the decision of the Inspection Body, the activities of the production plant have been temporarily suspended. The management of the company has been instructed to eliminate the identified violations within the set timeframe and to bring the production area into compliance with the requirements of current legislation.
