Hayk Marutyan initiates a petition against the increase in transport fares
Former Yerevan Mayor Hayk Marutyan is initiating a petition against the increase in transport fares. Marutyan announced this on his Facebook page.
Marutyan mentioned that their teams will move around the city, collecting signatures against this decision. As a result, they aim to push the City Council to abandon the unjustified intent to raise fares through a draft resolution.
In a video, Marutyan proposed a modification: the packages suggested by the City Council would remain the same. The change would be that a single trip on public transport would stay at 100 drams.
