
The international conference “Decent Work: A Path to Social Justice” has begun
On November 5, the international conference “Decent Work: A Path to Social Justice” began in Yerevan to discuss the challenges and opportunities in the fields of fair work, women’s empowerment, and child rights protection. The main speaker of the conference is Nobel Laureate Kailash Satyarthi.
The conference topics are diverse. Will be covered issues such as child labor and education. Specific steps will be taken to eliminate child labor. Accordingly, the role of women in protecting children from violence and exploitation is also emphasized.
Women’s empowerment programs will also be discussed during the event. Mechanisms will be implemented to promote and support women’s employment in entrepreneurship and high-productivity sectors.
The ongoing challenges of the global and Armenian labor markets will also be addressed. At the end of the event, there will be an award ceremony for social workers.
