“Pyunik” Football Club Has a New Owner: Who Is He?
Following the departure of former owner Artur Soghomonyan, “Pyunik” Football Club, Armenia’s most decorated club, has a new owner. Spanish citizen Anton Farber has taken over ownership. This was reported by the club’s press service.
Anton Farber has extensive experience as an agent for FIFA-sanctioned matches and players. He is the founder of leading football agencies in Europe and the Middle East, including Authentic.Football and KAI Football.
In its statement, the club highlighted that the new owner brings knowledge, international connections, and a vision to elevate “Pyunik” to new heights.
In September 2024, “Pyunik” was put up for sale. The former owner cited the main and sole reason for his decision: persistent persecution by the leadership of the Football Federation of Armenia, which had been ongoing for over two years.
