Vahe Sukiasyan is the European U18 Champion, Tigran Hambardzumyan is the European U14 Vice-Champion

Young chess representatives of Armenia performed successfully at the 2025 European Championship, achieving high results in two age groups.

According to the Chess Federation of Armenia, Vahe Sukiasyan became the European Champion in the under-18 category. He scored 7 points out of 9 possible, shared 1st–3rd places, and took the top spot based on tie-breakers.

In the under-14 tournament, Tigran Hambardzumyan became the Vice-Champion. He earned 7.5 points out of 9 possible, shared 1st–2nd places, and secured the second spot based on tie-breakers.

The Federation also published photos from the award ceremony, congratulating the young chess players on their high achievements.
