The football players of “West Armenia” are holding a protest due to not receiving their salaries
On November 21, the match between “Pyunik” and “West Armenia,” scheduled for the 17th round of the Fastex Armenian Premier League, was canceled. The reason is that “West Armenia” players have not received their salaries for 3 months. They will not show up for the game.
The players report that they have been without pay for nearly 3 months. Many have rented apartments in Armenia and are unable to pay the rent. Some even mention days when they couldn’t afford food.
The club had stated that salary delays were within acceptable limits, but the players insist otherwise.
