Lecturers in vocational educational institutions who pass certification will receive bonuses
Starting from February 2024, teachers who pass the relevant certification will receive bonuses. The new project also proposes granting bonuses to lecturers and masters in vocational educational institutions. The certification process has already been carried out, and the grading system is expected to be implemented next year.
This year, around 361 employees working in colleges have undergone retraining in four fields: jewelry, culinary arts, agriculture, and information technology. On November 30, a certification process was organized for them, and the results will be published on December 6. Preliminary results show that many have successfully passed the certification process, – stated Zhanna Andreasyan.
The forms of encouragement for them are similar to the bonus system in the teacher certification process. Specifically, teachers will receive bonuses based on the following criteria:
— A 50% bonus for achieving 90-100% results
— A 40% bonus for achieving 80-89% results
— A 30% bonus for achieving 70-79% results
— For achieving 60-69% results, the employee’s salary rate is set at 200,000.
The salaries of certified and ranked specialists may increase even more. During certification, teachers’ professional knowledge is assessed, and for ranking, pedagogical knowledge is evaluated.
