10 People Killed in Plane Crash in Brazil

The Civil Defense Agency has reported that 10 people died in a plane crash in Brazil. The aircraft struck a house chimney, then the second floor of a building, before crashing into a mobile phone shop in the Gramado residential area. Over a dozen people were injured in the incident.

The cause of the crash remains unclear. Local media reported that the plane was piloted by Brazilian businessman Luiz Claudio Galeazzi, who was traveling with his family to São Paulo state.

In a statement on LinkedIn, Galeazzi & Associados, the company founded by the 61-year-old businessman, confirmed his presence on the flight, adding that he was traveling with his wife, their three daughters, several other family members, and an employee.
