New public transport system to operate in Kapan starting January 1
A new public transport system will become operational in the city of Kapan starting January 1. The city’s 9 routes will be served by 6 new buses and 9 minibuses.
It is noted that the fare will remain unchanged at 100 AMD, and no significant changes are planned for the existing routes. All 9 minibuses and 6 buses will be put into operation starting January 1, 2026.
The vehicles fully comply with legal requirements, are adapted for persons with disabilities, and provide the possibility for both cash and cashless payments.
The buses are equipped with cooling and heating systems, as well as control systems and cameras to monitor passenger safety and service quality.
