UAVs launched from Iranian territory hit Nakhchivan

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Azerbaijan has announced that unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs) launched from the territory of Iran have fallen in various parts of Nakhchivan.

According to preliminary information, one of the drones fell in the area of one of the terminals of the Nakhchivan airport, and several other UAVs landed in other parts of the city. Another unmanned aerial vehicle fell in the area adjacent to one of the city’s schools.

Two people were injured as a result of the incident.

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Azerbaijan has strongly condemned the UAV attacks carried out from Iranian territory. The department also reported that Iran’s Ambassador to Azerbaijan has been summoned to the MFA to provide clarifications regarding the incident.
