In a press conference summarizing the activities of 2024, Minister of Health Anahit Avanesyan discussed the work done by her department and the upcoming initiatives. The minister spoke about the chickenpox vaccine, licensing requirements for medical organizations, and other topics.

Around 40,000 cases of dispensing prescription-only drugs without electronic prescriptions were recorded in Armenia in 2024. This was announced by the head of the Health and Labor Inspectorate (HLI), Slavik Sargsyan, during the 2024 year-end press conference.
