The Court of First Instance of General Jurisdiction of Yerevan city, presided over by Judge Masis Melkonyan, has decided to remand Narek Samsonyan, founder of “Antifake” and co-author of the “Imnemnimi” show, in custody for 2 months

The defenders of Archbishop Mikael Ajapahyan, Leader of the Shirak Diocese, have appealed the first instance court’s verdict sentencing him to 2 years of imprisonment to the Court of Appeals. The defense team requested that the verdict be fully overturned and a new judicial act be issued, recognizing the cleric’s innocence.

Davit Fidanyan, a journalist for the “Antifake” website, has been arrested. The information was reported by lawyer Ruben Melikyan, who wrote on his Facebook page that Fidanyan is being charged with the “peculiar suspicion of ‘obstructing justice’.”

The Yerevan Court of General Jurisdiction has decided to change the detention measure applied to businessman Tigran Galstyan, who is involved in the “Holy Struggle” case, by imposing combined restrictive measures: administrative supervision and prohibition of absence.
