The Yerevan International Photography Festival will be held in Yerevan for the first time
From October 28 to November 28, the Yerevan International Photography Festival will take place in Yerevan for the first time.
The festival will showcase previously unseen photographs of Yerevan.
The opening ceremony will be held on November 1, attended by photographers from the world-renowned Magnum Photos agency.
Magnum Photos has been operating for 77 years. The agency’s website features several works related to the Armenian Genocide. Photographer Diana Markosyan’s “1915” series portrays survivors of the genocide and sites associated with it.
Also on display is Nanna Heitmann’s 2023 documentary on the forced displacement of Armenians from Artsakh.
