Alexander Lapshin was not allowed to enter Armenia due to the search request from Azerbaijan.
“Alexander Lapshin contacted me just now and said that upon his arrival in Armenia, our law enforcement officers did not allow him to enter the country at the Zvartnots airport, they took his passport and asked him to wait. He assumes that the reason is the international search, the application of which was spread by Azerbaijan. I wonder if the application spread by Azerbaijan can be a basis for the law enforcement officers of Armenia,” writes journalist Artyom Yerkanyan.
The blogger’s name was already on the “black list” of Azerbaijan for visiting Artsakh in 2011. The problem with the Azerbaijani authorities got worse when in 2015 Lapshin managed to visit Azerbaijan from Georgia with a Ukrainian passport. At that time, he was not arrested because the name Alexander was written in Ukrainian as “Олександр” in the Ukrainian passport.
On July 20, 2017, Lapshin was sentenced to three years in prison, but months later, on September 11, 2017, Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev signed a decree granting amnesty to Alexander Lapshin. After his release, Lapshin wrote a post on his blog on the topic “Armenians, hold on, Azerbaijanis want to see you dead.”
“It’s a shame to admit, but until I was in the Azeri prison, I honestly thought that the Karabakh conflict was very controversial and should be resolved with respect for the national borders of Azerbaijan. What a fool I have been. Back in 1988, Azerbaijan started terrorizing the Armenians of Sumgait, Baku and Karabakh. With the Nazi juden frei scheme, only against Armenians, not Jews.
However, 95 percent of Azerbaijan’s Jews fled the country around the same time that the conflict began in Karabakh. Far from sin, they will kill the Armenians, pass the Jews. it is a hereditary memory. Today, Jews are loved in Azerbaijan, there are almost no Jews there, less than two thousand. Before the collapse of the Soviet Union, their number was almost 100 thousand.

It is noteworthy that Azerbaijan, which insists on tolerance from morning to night, considers the Armenian name of Karabakh, Artsakh, illegal. In other words, Armenian is outlawed, Armenians should not speak their mother tongue, have their faith and in general (quote from investigator Talibov) “… The Armenian Genocide is a fiction, if the Turks had massacred them, we would have had less problems…”
