The Yereruyk Basilica is Undergoing Renovation
Nikol Pashinyan visited the Yereruyk Basilica, located in the village of Anipemza in the Shirak region, where restoration work is being carried out. The project is being implemented in five phases.
In the first phase, the church walls were injected with a special lime mixture. The initial focus of the work has been on strengthening the foundations and staircases.
The project was designed by the National University of Architecture and Construction of Armenia.
The Ministry of Education, Science, Culture, and Sports is overseeing the project in cooperation with the U.S. Embassy in Armenia.
