Israel announces that Lebanon has fired 150 rockets in the direction of their country

According to the Israeli Army Radio, on September 20, at least 150 rockets were fired from Lebanon in the direction of military facilities and settlements in the north of Israel within an hour.

It is reported that “about 130 rockets were fired at the Galilee and the Golan Heights in two separate waves.”

The radio later announced that 20 more rockets were fired at the Meron region in the north.

Channel 12 reported that the rocket fire caused fires near Safed in northern Israel, while an Israeli resident was injured after a rocket hit his car in the Golan Heights.

Israel’s Health Ministry said there were no reports of casualties.

For its part, Hezbollah said it fired Katyusha rockets at the Al-Aliqa barracks, which is home to Israel’s 188th Brigade headquarters, as well as the Biriya and Qila air defense bases in northern Israel.

Earlier, Israel Army Radio confirmed that the Israeli Air Force launched a new wave of airstrikes and artillery bombardments on several locations in southern Lebanon.
