Alexandra Grigoryan became the bronze medalist of the World Youth Championship

Alexandra Grigoryan won a bronze medal in the doubles at the world youth weightlifting championship, which started in the Spanish city of Leon.

In the 55 kg weight fight, Alexandra Grigoryan was satisfied with the 7th position in the snatch exercise (81 kg result). In the push exercise, Alexandra lifted 110 kg, which brought her a small silver medal in that exercise.

The 19-year-old weightlifter won a bronze medal with the result of 191 kg. China’s Gen Gan-Li became the youth world champion, Colombian Gelen Torres won the silver medal.

It should be noted that in November 2023, Alexandra Grigoryan became the winner of the World Youth Championship, and in 2024 in Sofia, the gold medalist of the European Championship.
