Russia Warns Washington to “Not Stir the Hornet’s Nest”
The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Russian Federation has released a statement regarding the use of chemical weapons by Kyiv.
Russia accuses the Ukrainian Armed Forces of using toxic chemical substances during the conflict, in violation of international conventions. Russia claims that these actions are supported by Western countries and that NATO has supplied Ukraine with modern equipment to detect toxic substances. According to Russia, the purpose of this is to accuse it of preparing provocations.
We warn Washington and its satellites to ‘not play with fire’ in order not to completely dismantle the Chemical Weapons Convention regime established in 1997.
Russia promises to present evidence of Ukrainian violations to the international community and warns that in the case of such actions against its citizens, “they will receive deserved and inevitable punishment.”
Since the start of the war, Ukraine’s government has accused Russia of carrying out chemical attacks. The U.S. has backed these accusations, imposing sanctions on organizations related to chemical and biological weapons.
