Kamo Tsutsulyan has been reappointed as the Director of the Emergency Situations Department and Deputy Minister of the Ministry of Internal Affairs

Kamo Tsutsulyan has been reappointed as the Director of the Emergency Situations Department and Deputy Minister of the Ministry of Internal Affairs. The decision was made by Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan.

Based on Articles 6(3.1), 9(7) of the “Public Service Law,” Article 31(1) of the “Emergency Services Law,” and Article 11(6) of the “Regulation of Administrative Legal Relations Law,” Kamo Tsutsulyan, who has been temporarily serving as the Acting Director of the Emergency Situations Department and Deputy Minister of Internal Affairs, has been reappointed to this position, – this was stated within the decision.

Tsutsulyan was appointed to this position on January 9, 2023. By the Prime Minister’s decision, in April 2024, Tsutsulyan was awarded the rank of General-Major of the Emergency Situations Department.

In April 2024, he submitted his property declaration to the Anti-Corruption Committee. According to the website’s data, Tsutsulyan declared one apartment in the Davtashen administrative district of Yerevan, one apartment in Ijevan, two public buildings in Tavush, a plot of land, and a private residential house.

At the end of the previous year, the amount of cash he held was 22,000 USD and 19,000,000 AMD. The total income for the year amounted to 21,807,894 AMD.
