Donald Trump Becomes the 47th President of the United States

After 4 years, Donald Trump has once again become the president of the United States. He secured the required minimum of 270 electoral votes, defeating Democratic candidate Kamala Harris. After the inauguration on January 20, he will return to the White House. Trump previously served as the president from 2017 to 2021.

The election results showed Trump’s victory in swing states like Georgia, Pennsylvania, and Michigan, among others. Kamala Harris primarily received votes from traditionally Democratic areas, such as Virginia, Hawaii, Colorado, and Washington state.

At 78, Trump is the oldest president in U.S. history. He is also the first U.S. president to be criminally charged and impeached twice. However, this will be Trump’s final opportunity to hold the presidency. As the Constitution prohibits a candidate from being elected to the position for a third term.
