Access to Kindergartens Will Be Ensured in 244 Settlements
Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan chaired a discussion on the progress of the government’s “300 Schools, 500 Kindergartens” program.
According to Deputy Prime Minister Tigran Khachatryan, 244 settlements currently lack access to preschool institutions. He noted that in order to solve this problem, the next kindergartens to be built will be included in these settlements.
The total budget of the program is 342 billion drams.
At an operational consultation meeting, Yerevan Mayor Tigran Avinyan addressed the need to build new schools and kindergartens. These will be constructed taking into account the population density of the capital and will be located in areas with new developments.
