A decision has been made regarding the employees of the “Rossia” fair: what is known?
Vendors at the “Rossia” fair in Yerevan will continue their activities in their current pavilions in the coming months. This information was shared by one of the fair’s employees. He also noted that the management informed them that it would be possible to continue working in the same location for about 4–5 more months.
According to him, the fair is currently operating as usual; however, a renovation of the area is planned, after which it will operate in a mall format. The employees were also assured that after the reconstruction, they would have the opportunity to obtain pavilions in the new space again, and they would be given priority in this matter.
A few days ago, the merchants held a protest. They demanded that the pavilions be returned to them after the renovation and that they be given enough time to sell their imported goods.
To continue activities in the same area after the renovation, the vendors must operate on a shop-based principle and choose the names for their retail outlets in advance.
The “Rossia” fair belongs to the family of Member of Parliament Khachatur Sukiasyan.
