RA Ambassador to the US participated in a conference on critical minerals
On February 4, the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Armenia to the United States, Narek Mkrtchyan, participated in a ministerial conference on critical minerals at the US Department of State, organized at the initiative of US Secretary of State Marco Rubio.
During the conference, speeches were delivered by US Vice President J.D. Vance, US Secretary of State Marco Rubio, as well as Special Assistant to the US President and Senior Director for Global Supply Chains at the National Security Council, David Coplin.
Representatives from more than 50 countries participated in the event. The participants were united by a joint commitment to cooperate on securing, diversifying, and stabilizing supply chains for rare and critical minerals.
During the discussions, the importance of international cooperation was emphasized to ensure the stability and security of global supply chains.
