Iran launched missiles at Israel
On the evening of October 1, Iran launched more than 200 ballistic missiles at Israel’s capital, Tel Aviv. According to Iranian media, this was in response to the deaths of Hezbollah leader Hassan Nasrallah and Hamas leader Ismail Haniyeh.
Daniel Hagari, Israeli military spokesperson stated that Israel is fully prepared to defend itself and retaliate. He warned Iran that the response would be timely.
Iran, on its part, declared that in the event of a retaliatory strike, it would launch a “crushing attack” against Israel. It has also been revealed that Israel managed to intercept very few missiles, with the majority reaching their targets.
