Closed roads in Armenia
As of 19:35 on February 12, all interstate and republican highways in the Republic of Armenia are open. The organizations responsible for road maintenance continue cleaning and salt-sanding operations on the highways.
Due to adverse weather conditions in Armenia, intense snowstorms, lack of visibility, and for traffic safety reasons, roads are being closed periodically. As of 20:00 on February 12, the roads from the Jermuk intersection to Kapan, and the Kajaran-Meghri sections, are closed for trailer vehicles.
The Vardenyats Pass is closed for trailer vehicles and difficult to pass for other types of vehicles.
Light snow is falling in the regions of Artik, Ashotsk, and Sevan.
Snowstorms are reported in the Alagyaz-Tsaghkahovit and Tsilkar-Rya Taza road sections.
Due to intense snowstorms and lack of visibility, the Ttujur-Navur highway is closed for all types of vehicles.
Fog is reported on the roads of the Sevan region, with visibility ranging between 50-70 meters.
