Flights from Russia to Armenia Cancelled

A number of flights from Russia to Armenia have been cancelled or delayed, as evidenced by the online schedule of Zvartnots International Airport. Two flights from Moscow to Yerevan by Azimuth and Shirak Avia airlines have been cancelled, and one flight from Krasnoyarsk will not be operated.

The flight on the Saint Petersburg-Yerevan route has been delayed. According to preliminary data, the reason is the temporary restrictions imposed on the arrival and departure of aircraft at several Russian airports due to a potential UAV (Unmanned Aerial Vehicle) strike.

Earlier, Moscow Mayor Sergey Sobyanin reported that eight drones flying toward Moscow were destroyed. According to him, emergency services are working at the locations where the fallen debris was found.

In its turn, Rosaviatsiya (Federal Air Transport Agency) informs that restrictions have been introduced at Moscow’s Vnukovo, Domodedovo, Zhukovsky, and Sheremetyevo airports to ensure flight safety.
