The Armenian national boxing team returns home with 2 gold and 3 silver medals
At the European Under-23 Championship, the Armenian national boxing team is coming home with 5 medals.
In the finals of the tournament held in Sofia, Bulgaria, Armenia had 5 representatives. Elida Kocharyan won in the 60 kg weight category for the second year in a row, defeating the Ukrainian opponent. The second gold medal was won by Rudolf Garboyan. In the 51 kg weight category, Garboyan proved stronger than the Azerbaijani athlete.
Ruslan Aslikyan in the 57 kg category, Artur Sahakyan in the 60 kg category, and Harutyun Hakobkokhyan in the 67 kg category became silver medalists.
Under the leadership of Karen Aghamalyan, our team brings home 2 gold and 3 silver medals. Last year, the team returned with 2 gold, 1 silver, and 3 bronze medals.
