
Our Players Abroad: Henrikh Mkhitaryan Stands Out with a Goal, Others Less Effective
Armenian football players playing abroad did not have a productive week. Last week, Henrikh Mkhitaryan was the only one to score a goal.
Armenian national team defender Andre Calisir played two matches with the Swedish team “Brommapojkarna.” The Armenian player started both games and played until the end. He helped his team secure a point in the match against “Norrkoping” (1:1). His team lost to “Kalmar” (1:2). In both matches, Calisir received a 7.0 rating from Sofascore.
Edgar Sevikyan participated in the central match of the 13th round of the Russian Premier League against “Zenit” (1:1). The Armenian player was in the starting lineup and was substituted in the 68th minute. He received a rating of 7.2. Nair Tiknizyan was also in the starting lineup for “Lokomotiv.” He played the full match and received a rating of 7.1.
Georgi Harutyunyan participated in the Russian Cup match against “Pari NN.” The young defender was in the starting lineup and played the entire match. Armenian national team midfielder Eduard Spertsyan also participated in the match, entering as a substitute in the 65th minute.
