New trend may have dangerous consequences
In recent days, videos have been circulating online, mainly showing young people hanging from street signs and performing dance moves. The new trend quickly gained wide popularity among Armenian social media users as well.
The Ministry of Internal Affairs (MIA) Police addressed the videos, clarifying that such actions pose a high risk. They can even cause injuries, first and foremost endangering the health of the person performing them. In addition to personal harm, there is also the possibility of damage to state property, which entails liability prescribed by law.
Law enforcement agencies urge the public to refrain from actions that carry undesirable consequences. Similar trends can become a stimulus for dangerous behavior, as many imitate the videos without realizing the consequences.
