Exports of goods of Armenian origin exceed $4.46 billion

According to the data published by the Minister of Economy Gevorg Papoyan, exports of goods of Armenian origin have increased from $2 billion in 2017 to $4.46 billion in 2025, recording a more than 2.2-fold growth.

It is emphasized that this calculation does not include re-exports and gold exports, which makes the indicator more pronounced specifically from the perspective of local production.

In parallel, a significant increase was also recorded in the level of productivity. If in 2017 the productivity per person-hour was $5.6, by 2025 it reached $11.3, growing more than twofold.

According to Gevorg Papoyan, such results would not have been possible without state programs aimed at increasing productivity. The total portfolio of these programs currently amounts to about $1.5 billion. This means that Armenian businesses have acquired around $1.5 billion worth of state-of-the-art equipment, and the state fully or largely subsidizes the interest rates of loans and leasing attracted for the acquisition of that equipment.
