Construction Volumes in Armenia Expected to Drop This Year

Construction in Armenia gained significant momentum last year. Today, construction is underway both in the capital and beyond, but according to forecasts, this figure will decrease considerably compared to last year.

From the beginning of the year until August, construction volumes amounted to 330 billion drams. Last year, the total volume of construction was quite high, reaching 620 billion drams.

Since 2020, construction volumes have increased significantly. In 2020, it was 430 billion drams, in 2021 around 470 billion drams, and in 2022 it reached 540 billion drams.

The highest construction volume since 2000 was recorded in 2008, with 858 billion drams, while the lowest was in 2000, at 100 billion drams.
