The situation with measles and Nile fever in Armenia: The number of infections has increased compared to the previous year
On August 7, 2024, the first case of West Nile fever was recorded in Armenia. The virus claimed the lives of four people.
Although there is no vaccine or specific treatment for West Nile fever in medicine, the number of infected people in Armenia has significantly decreased in the past month. According to the Ministry of Health of Armenia, the last recorded case of infection was on September 25.
Measles cases have increased compared to the previous year. Most cases of measles have been registered among children.
