Israel Strikes Iran
On October 26, Israel bombed military facilities in Iran. Iranian media reported the deaths of two soldiers. Israel stated that this was in response to the 200 ballistic missiles launched by Iran on October 1.
According to Iranian media, explosions were heard in Tehran as well as in surrounding areas. The airstrikes were conducted in multiple waves. The targets included Iran’s military facilities and the command center of the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps.
Reports indicate that over 140 fighter jets appeared in Tehran’s skies. The operation was named “Days of Atonement.”
