Yerevan Bridges to Have Digital Passports
The Yerevan Municipality is planning to implement a new program to inventory transportation and pedestrian passages and present their technical specifications. According to municipal data, there are around 120 such structures, including 47 bridges, 26 overpasses, and 39 underpasses. There are also bridge structures and tunnels, but there is no precise information about their current condition.
In the coming months, the community plans to assess these structures and provide an analysis of their current state. In parallel, each structure will receive a digital passport, containing information on the year of construction, description, height, width, length, type of construction, and other technical characteristics.
A tender will be announced to implement the program, and the necessary research will be conducted within 8-9 months.
