Russian Ambassador to Armenia Sergey Kopyrkin visited Vayots Dzor region
On September 16, Russian Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary to Armenia Sergey Kopyrkin left on an official visit to Vayots Dzor region. This is reported by the Russian Embassy in Armenia.
The Ambassador met with the Governor of Vayots dzor region Kolya Mikayelyan. During the meeting the possibilities of inter-regional cooperation were discussed. The expansion of trade-economic and humanitarian ties between the two countries was also discussed.
Russian Trade Representative Anna Donchenko and expert of the Russian part of the Armenian-Russian Inter-Parliamentary Commission Vahram Karapetyan also attended the meeting.
The last time the Ambassador was in Vayots dzor region was in February 2023.
