Armenia hosted more than 150 young parliamentarians

About 150 young advisors from 60 countries arrived in Armenia to participate in the 10th Global Conference of Young Advisors of the Inter-Parliamentary Union. It was titled “How to Avoid Lost Generations”.

According to the results of the research conducted by the Inter-Parliamentary Union, the National Assembly of Armenia ranks first in the number of young deputies.

Alen Simonyan and Nikol Pashinyan made opening remarks. The latter emphasized the role of education in the life of the society.

“One of the key causes of poverty is hidden in education. That is why three cornerstone projects are being implemented in Armenia. The first is a plan to build and reconstruct 300 schools in Armenia, the second is the construction and overhaul of 500 kindergartens, and the third is the academic campus project”

The conference featured panel discussions and individual speeches by both Armenian and foreign delegates.
