Alexey Overchuk visited the Lori region
Russian Deputy Prime Minister Alexei Overchuk, who is in Armenia on an official visit, visited Lori region. There he traveled by train along the Vanadzor-Akhtala railroad line together with representatives of the management of “Russian Railways” and “South Caucasus Railway”. On the spot he got acquainted in detail with the restoration works of the railway infrastructure affected by the May 25, 2024 flood.
Afterwards, he met with journalists and answered their questions.
”One thing needs to be emphasized. There is the media world and the real world. Today we have crossed a real bridge, we have a real growth of trade turnover, the Armenian leadership has real influence in the EAEU. Sometimes the world created by the media does not correspond to reality,” Overchuk said.
He also spoke about the deblockade and noted that it is possible only within the framework of the agreements reached at the level of the leaders of the three countries and expressed in the joint statement of November 9-10, 2020.
