Does the U.S. Continue to Support the Signing of a Peace Agreement Between Armenia and Azerbaijan?
U.S. State Department spokesman Matthew Miller has stated that the signing of a peace agreement between Armenia and Azerbaijan depends not on the United States but on the two countries themselves.
The spokesman had previously announced in November of last year that the U.S. continues to support efforts to resolve the issues between Azerbaijan and Armenia.
Notably, Miller had stated in April of this year that the U.S. could play any role in facilitating this dialogue, whereas now he emphasizes that the signing of the agreement does not rely on the United States.
