Nobel Prize Ceremony to Take Place from October 7-14
This year, the Nobel Prize ceremony will be held from October 7 to 14. The Norwegian Nobel Institute has registered a total of 286 candidates for this year’s Peace Prize, of which 197 are individuals and 89 are organizations.
On October 7, the winners of the Medicine Prize will be announced, followed by the prizes for Physics, Chemistry, Literature, Peace, and Economics in the subsequent days. The award ceremony will be broadcast live on the official Nobel Prize website.
For comparison, last year, 351 candidates were registered, while in 2016, there were 376 candidates, which was the highest number in the history of the awards.
