Prosecutors General of Russia and Armenia Sign Cooperation Program

Today, the 34th meeting of the Coordinating Council of Prosecutors General of The Commonwealth of Independent States (CIS) countries took place in Yerevan.

Within the framework of the meeting, a discussion was held between the Prosecutors General of Russia and Armenia. They signed a cooperation program for 2024-2025.

“The warm relations between our prosecutorial offices contribute to effective cooperation between the two agencies,” emphasized Russia’s Prosecutor General Igor Krasnov. He awarded Anna Vardapetyan with the “Honorary Prosecutor of CIS Participating States” medal.

Igor Krasnov invited Armenian prosecutors to undergo training next year in areas of their interest.

“We have already established a practice of exchanging delegations to conduct training events on-site in both Armenia and Russia,” he noted.

Igor Krasnov’s first meeting with Anna Vardapetyan took place on December 7, 2022, in Moscow, where they signed the seventh cooperation program for 2023-2024.
